We have a proud history and promising future of providing the world’s leading food brands, research, and training.  The city is revitalizing its downtown to accommodate food science and other innovation industries. Nearby rivers and forests, numerous parks and recreational opportunities, and the world-class Binder Park Zoo make our city a family-friendly area for outdoor play. Battle Creek is unique for visiting. Where else would you find a cereal festival where breakfast tables sprawl the downtown? Or dozens of hot air balloons floating against a blue sky with thousands below cheering?

We attract thousands of nationwide families to play in amateur baseball tournaments. Binder Zoo is ranked as one of the top U.S. zoological parks. Our environment is prime for biking, hiking and exploring.

Battle Creek’s history showcases the American food industry, the underground railroad and even health featured in the movie, The Road to Wellness.
